Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) Application Form in Gujarati
This is an Application Form for a one-year life insurance scheme for an individual that is issued by the central government of India. The cover under PMJJBY is for death only and hence benefit will accrue only to the nominee. PMJJBY is a pure term insurance policy, which covers only mortality with no investment component and renewed every year.

The PMJJBY scheme is a life cover for a fixed amount of Rs 2 lakh for an annual premium of Rs 330 and is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years having a bank account In the case of a joint account, all holders of the said account can join the scheme provided they meet its eligibility criteria and pay the premium at the rate of Rs.330 per person per annum.
Waiting period for claims
Risk cover under PMJJBY is applicable only after the first 45 days of enrolment. In other words, insurers do not have to settle claims during the first 45 days from the date of enrolment. However, deaths due to accidents will be exempt from the lien clause and will still be paid.
How to Enrolment
PMJJBY is administered through LIC and other Indian private life insurance companies. One may also approach their bankers as for the process of enrolment banks have tied up with insurance companies. In the case of multiple bank accounts held by an individual in one or different banks, the person would be eligible to join the scheme through one bank account only.

Anyone between 18 to 30 years of age person can avail of this scheme. The person must need a bank account to get the benefits of this insurance policy. The policy requires a deposit of Rs 330 per year. This amount will be deducted directly from the beneficiary’s bank account every year. Under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana eligible people get insurance up to Rs 2 lakh.
In This Account holder, get Risk coverage is Rs 2 lakh. If the insured dies suddenly then his family will get Rs 2 lakh. People between the ages of 18 and 50 can avail of the benefits of this scheme. The annual premium is only Rs. 330 if calculate monthly premium in this Scheme its only Rs 27.5. in Short, you can pay 27 rs per month and get an insurance policy of up 2 Lakh.
9 Cr & 88 lakh 79,708 people have been enrolled under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana till January 27, 2021. Also, 280440 claims have been issued under this scheme. if you want to avail of this scheme then you can visit any nearest government bank branch.
